I want to cook a ham tomorrow and in the past I either have cooked it in the oven or done it on my George Foreman rotisserie which does self baste as the ham turns but if you want to put pineapple juice or a glaze on the ham it tends to fall off as the ham turns. So I was wondering if I put it in a crockpot, poured pineapple juice in with it and then glazed it with a brown sugar and honey-mustard glaze and cooked it slowly it would absorb the juice and the flavors better. Has anyone tried a ham in the crockpot before?

is a crockpot the same thing as a slow cooker (which is what they are called here in the UK), if it is I cook my ham in mine all the time, I soak it in water for an hour or so to take away some of the saltiness, put in the slow cooker with a litre of apple juice and a 15 ml spoon of brown sugar and cook overnight, we then eat it either hot or cold and it is delicious
