Okay, yeah, we ALL know how humid it can be in Florida in July, especially if you aren't used to it...so, my question is WhAt do you do to keep your hair tamed?? I mean, frizzies and all?? DO you wear a bandana or your hair a certain way??? Or do you just gel it to death?
Tips anyone!?!?

Yeah, hairspray is about useless...If I want my hair to stay down I have to put gel and hairspray...etc...and then my hair feels nasty. I'm thinking about getting my hair braided or something, but it costs like 40 cents a braid and on my hair...woah...
Does anyone know of any places in disney that braids hair??? I know there are hair wraps, but braiding?

I have the same problem. I have very long, straight and thick hair. And the humidity makes my hair frizzy which makes it look even more thick from the humidity. I don't wear my hair up because my hair doesn't look good up, and hair spray and gel would feel kinda gross in my hair. So I don't know what to do either! I'll just have to go with frizzy hair:(

Wow, I have the total opposite problem to all of you. When I go in the sun, my hair goes all limp.
I'm not sure if you can buy it in America, but I always use Aussie leave in conditioner, and it protects my hair pretty well.
And of course, the easiest solution, wear a hat :D .

There was a place that did hair wraps at the Beach Club, but i'm not sure if they're still there. And about the humidity thing, ummm I really dont know, but I usually put those little rubber bands in my hair, then put it in a messy bun, or twist strands of hair, anchor them with bobby pins and then put it in a messy bun. My only suggestion would be to get some styling gel, like Paul Mitchell or something. The Clairol Daily Defense Hair Spray works really well too! But I'd suggest not wearing too much hairspray cuz, aren't bee's attracted to it? Hope this helped!

I live in the humidity so I am used to it! The best advice I can give is just to pull your hair back! Using lots of hair spray and gel ususally doesnt do to well in my hair! Because of the heat and sweating it makes it look bad!!!

My hair is really curly and at its old length it was driving me nuts so i cut it off...its still curly and since it isn't very humid here today i won't know how the humidity will affect it until the humidity comes back.

my hair is curly...very curly but i live in texas and deal with the humidity all the time...i guess the main thing is to wear your hair up.
actaully, since i have always lived in the humidity I dunno what to tell you...lol..ummm..do stay calm and dont do to much to it...then your hair well get even frizzier...on my hair i use tigi bed head frizz control..it works great then i hairspray it and im ready to go but probably have a different hair type than most of yall. so Im really not a big help.

If you are going on a cruise and want your hair braided I would get it done at Castaway Cay. I hear that Nassau isn't very sanitary.

unless you have super short hair i guess a hat would be your best bet
<font color=blueviolet size=4>I got my hair braided in St. Maarten & got TOTALLY ripped off! They put 56 TINY braids in my hair for a dollar a braid (i managed to get the price down to $40.. but still.. that's CRAZY!) I ended up gettin it re-braided @ C.C. cuz it was getting all tangley cuz they were all @ the front & they had beads in it. Even though ya hafta wait till the last day to get it done @ Castaway Cay, it's better cuz they don't rip ya off & do a MUCH better job!
