When we went on the Disney Cruise last year we could use our room keys as a credit card and pay the balance at the front desk. We are staying on sight and I was wondering if we would be able to do the same in the parks?

you can use your room key to charge to your room at most everywhere in the 4 major parks and DTD. you cannot use your room key at most of the quick snack type carts at the parks or at the water parks.

Yes, you can do that onsite as long as you have a credit card.

Just make sure you set it up that way when you check in.
