I have a stupid question to ask all of you scrapbookers.... My wife love to makes scrapbooks and is a huge Disney fanatic. So - I was thinking, has any one ever heard of an opportunity to do both at WDW? Maybe a special 'vacation' package that would include scrapbooking or something?
It is probably a stupid idea, but I know that my wife would love it.... Any thoughts?
Thanks

Check out Creatingkeepsakes.com - they have an event in Orlando in Oct. 2004 and a disney scrapbook cruise in March or April. Not a dumb question at all!

This link gives you a whole bunch of scrapbooking cruises. The DCL one is in March on the 3 day Wonder cruise. That would be SO cool!!!!!!!!!

No, Your idea is not stupid. It is very refreshing.
The Memories Expo is in Orlando the first part of October. I went 2 years ago and was blown away. We combined the expo with a Disney trip. There are tons of exhibitors on the showroom floor. Many of them have a free make and take project to teach you a quick technique or a new way to use their product. There are also formal classes sponsored by many of the product makers. There are even classes offered by some of the celebrities in the scrapping arena. We missed the evening cropping parties but they looked like they all had a lot of fun at them.

charabby - I don't see the info for Orlando on the CK page -- are they having CKU again?
I really REALLY wanted to go to CKU at Disney last year. For the Original Poster - CKU is Creating Keepsakes University -- think of it as college for scrapbooking -- they have all kinds of classes in combination with crop time and expos. They had CKU right before or around the same time as a big scrapping expo in orlando. So, you could combine a trip to Disney, CKU (CKU was on property at Coronado) and then go to the convention in orlando. I was really bummed that I couldn't go because of work, and was hoping they would have it again this year.
There is also the "scrapbooking store" at Downtown Disney -- not much but it's nice place to get stickers and kits.
