Anyone been to Disney Store after Christmas?

I haven't been able to brave the mall with my 3 kids after Christmas yet. I was just wondering if anyone has been to the Disney Store after Christmas. Are the sales different than before Christmas?

We just got back from Christiana Mall in Delaware. We passed the Disney store but didn't go in - we never do anymore since they stopped selling anything anyone would possibly want. There were sale signs all over the place but only a couple of people in the store despite the mall being quite crowded. I wish they would either bring back merchandise that people want and need or just put the chain out of its misery. Its sad to see what they did to what used to be a thriving business.

I ran in quickly....I did get 2 DVD's for 14.99 she said today was the last day. I really didn't see much else. Lots of sale signs but nothing great

I wanted some Nemo things for my hubby's birthday on Christmas Eve - not a single Nemo item in the entire store on the 23rd. Everything was pretty much 50% off, but there was just nothing decent to buy. I guess if I want good Disney merchandise, I'll drive the hour to Downtown Disney at Disneyland. What a bummer, as I loved going to the Disney Store.

33% off plush, some of the clothing and gifts were on sale. I didn't see anything I had to buy. I had heard about the DVD sale, but there wasn't a sign in our TDS so I told DH to skip buying POTC and buy it at Walmart.
I went in to exhange the Mickey sweatjacket I got for Christmas, but they didn't have the size I wanted. I kept the one I had and was fortunate to get the right size through disneystore.com.

I was just in the Disney Store earlier today here in KCK.
Definitely disappointed in the lack of merchandise. However, bought a Mickey sweatshirt for 50% off then got another 10% with my DVC member card. Regularly $24, paid $11.

Louisville, KY used to have a great Disney Store. Now, it's mostly a toy store -- only sweatshirts and jackets for adults. Ours had 50% off infant clothing (I have a 5 mo. old) and 33% off plush. One display of 50% off Christmas merchandise.

I was just at the Disney Store in Raleigh, NC yesterday and most of the clothes were 50% off. There were also the short sleeved tee's on sale for $5.99 each when you bought two. They had some really cute designs. I saw flannel PJ's that were 39.95 marked half price. The only design was Snow White here. I also saw that the Buz stuff was 33% off and what the had left of the the Christmas stuff was 50% off. The adult sweatshirts were also half price.

Just be happy you still have a Disney Store to go to.. Ours just Closed their doors for good on Sunday. Looks like the rumors about closing all TDS are true.. So much for getting a fix between Disney trips.
