I ordered the Garlic Chicken & Vegetables from the Atkins menu. The chicken had good flavor! (if you like garlic). There were little pieces of roasted garlic all over it. The vegetables could use a little work however. There weren't very many of them at all - only about 4 slices of summer squash, and 4 small slices of cooked tomato. Not much flavor in the veggies at all either.

I guess, for $9.99 I expected a little more - maybe if they served it with a side salad or something I would have felt like I was getting my money's worth. I don't think I would order this again - even though the chicken was pretty good. But, I will try something else off their Atkins menu again - it was nice seeing the carb counts!

I tried the tuna salad wraps Tues night. I liked the tuna with the touch of wasabi, but am not a big fan of the iceberg lettuce they give you to use as a wrap. I've had the Sizzling Chicken before (ordered it without mashed potatoes before they served it as Atkins friendly with broccoli). It's quite tasty.

I have often wondered why more resteraunts don't do "atkins friendly". I have come to realize that the answer is really obvious.
Food Cost.
Most resteraunts work very hard to control food costs and labor. That's why they give you lots of bread and big portions of potatoes etc. Those things fill you up and don't cost very much. Most high protien, low carb food is far more expensive and to raise the amount of chicken or whatever that they serve would crank food cost way up.
