I can't stand waiting until summer, and we are planning a trip to FW during our spring break. Fortunately our break doesn't coincide with Easter and we will be there the fourth week of March.
Being from the south myself, I know that anything is possible weatherwise in the spring, but was curious as to anyone's experiences with weather and crowds at that time of year. Anyone??:sunny:

Sorry I don't have an answer....but I'd like to know too. We'd actually like to visit sometime in early March because we'll have 2 of our kids' birthdays then....but aren't sure if this is a good time for tent camping.
Of course, we had hoped to do this in 2004....but as it happens we'll be having a baby then.
The only definitive answer is that it never snows in March!:teeth:
Usually it is unpredicatble
Sometimes it is cold (40), sometimes it is warm (90):sunny:, and a couple of very rainy days:umbrella:.

We've been there the 3rd week in March. It was nice....light jacket or sweatshirt for evening. BUT we're from the snowy north and about March, 40 and 50 degree weather is heavenly! You may see others with gloves and scarves on while we're in shorts! LOL

We went at that time for Spring Break 2003. The first 2 nights it was extremely cold. If it hadn't been for the electric blanket, we would have froze! (Thank goodness we also took lightweight jackets!) Then it warmed up about the 3rd day and we were fine. Go prepared in case it turns cold. We are going again 4-3 to 4-10 but got a good deal at the Swan and won't be camping this Spring Break.
