Thank goodness they don't have enough union members to call a sucessful strike!!! Can you imagine Mickey Mouse standing at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom Toll plaza with a cardboard sign in his hand.

Egads....talk about losing the magic.

As a union member I'm sorry things are not going their way, but as someone leaving for the "world" in 6 days I'm also glad they could not have a successful strike! Can you imagine if half the bus drivers walked? And this is the trip we are trying to go without a car!!

Hey folks, I'm a labor relations specialist and I can tell you that if something just less than half of the workforce walks, you will see a very different WDW. Hopefully they will work it out but I would not agree that they aren't strong enough to successfully strike. It sounds as though the two sides are getting creative with the financials. Sometimes that's the only way you can get it done in the current economy. Now if we can just find the negotiations pixie dust...............
