Just read somewhere there is a mandatory insurance fee to hookup at a campsite.
Anyone know anything about this?

I've never heard anything about it (unless it is included in the rates and listed in the fine print which I can't read so well any more). Where did you hear about it?

My recent stay I was charged the nightly rate, plus 11.5% tax. That is all.

Depending on how you book your stay and what travel agency or travel agent you use, your reservation may have "trip insurance" automatically added. You can always cancel it.
I think the only things they add to the basic rate are taxes and additional person fees.

Thanks for the replies. My husband read it somewhere on the internet regarding Ft. Wilderness.
