Portofino Letdown?!

Read some back posts and am concerned about an upcoming stay. These previous posts were 6-8 months ago, so can a more recent visitor speak to the upkeep on the hotel and service by the staff? We have never been to US/IOA and we are Disney'd out, so a quick weekend trip is in order to a warm climate! Thanks for the input!

My family and I recently stayed at Portofino. December 7-11. The upkeep and staff were first notch. I also had quite a few meals at different restaurants at this property. The service and food was excellent. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay. I hope your experience is the same. Enjoy...and get some well deserved sunshine! :D

Just returned from 2 nights at Portofino on Jan 11 and 12th. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean, gorgeous and the pillows so heavenly!!! Boat ride to the parks a breeze and the front of the line access is wonderful, trust me you will have a great time!
