View Full Version : To anyone with Pinecone experience

I was picked yesterday to be part of Pinecone & have been trying ever since to go do my assigned study. But, every time I try, I get a message saying there is a high volume on the server & to try back in a couple hours. I've been trying since yesterday with no luck. In anyone's experience does this happen often & does the volume usually settle down after a day or so? I don't have the option of doing the study in "off hours" as I only have internet on my work PC. TIA for any replies!

I've done 2 for pinecone in the last month and have had no problem. I have done them after 10:00pm both times, what time are you trying to do the surveys?

Dave,

I have to do them on my work PC (no internet at home) & my hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm MST.

I got my first study yesterday also and I tried all day to log on and do it but I kept getting time-out errrors. I tried switching browsers but it didn't help. I tried again first thing this morning and it worked fine. I was afraid that it will tell me I had already done it (since I got about 3 pages done yesterday) but it didn't. I would try again first thing tomorrow since it doesn't seem to be as busy then.

I haven't been able to do mine either. I get the high traffic volume message. I even tried after midnight last night, thinking that would be "off hours" but no such luck.

Sounds like they may be having a server problem,

Just got in & did my survey, so if you haven't been able to before, give it a try again now!

I JUST DID MY SURVEY (YEAH, FIRST ONE!!). I HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING INTO THE SITE.

I was accepted and got my first survey today! Just finished, did not have any response problems. Can't wait for that first check!

When I just posted it said site under construction.... and then tried a hour or so later and it was fine...

Love it, love it! And the checks come quick as well

I have a theory as to why it was so hard to get on the site--I was having the same problem. They posted that link over on the MYCoupons board which has a very high volume and lots of peope signed up and got their survey and we were all trying to get on there and do it --all around the same time. Now that is just a theory but it is well known that it is 5 dollars a survey and they are very reliable about paying out and I think that's why everyone was rushing to do it.......:earseek:
