A Mickey Fan- Hey, hey! This is so funny! My wife is having knee surgery in about 3 hours at 7:30 am and she is so nervous that we are both awake. The kids and I will be at RPH 12/21. You think I should drag the old lady along so we can complain and get a free night!

It is nice to be able to joke about it ....but before his surgery when we stayed ....it wasn't a joke to him, he really did have a misrable time. I didn't complain to get a free night. I just felt that the Corp Headquaters should know what their employee's are doing (or not doing). What they did to us is comparable to giving a handicap person a non handicap room (after requesting & being told they would get it). It is almost the same situation only difference being that the handicap isn't permenant (yet) and if it were, there would have been lawyers willing to actually go after the HRH/Lowes (there is actually a person trying to sue our local beach because the playground area isnt' wheelchair accessible, it is in the sand). People with 2 good legs really don't realize what a person who has limited mobility goes thru and take everything for granted.
The free night they gave us is also giving them 3 more paid by us...the free night couldn't be used by itself....so the HRH is the one really making out not us....but that is neither here nor there.... I just hope they follow thru on my requests this time.... I am bringing up paper work from the Dr's so there will be no misunderstanding....this request isn't a convience one but a MEDICAL one.
Hope your wife's surgery goes well...I can't believe you are leaving her home...after surgery...that is worse than dragging her with you! Will she have someone around to help her?

A Mickeyfan -- probably just staying for the one day, however, I'm also hoping to meet IMGONNABE40 and I think she's going to be there on the 21-23...if I remember correctly...so my mom and I are trying to figure out what to do. Right now it looks like only the one day, though.

How old is your daughter?

She is 15.... my son may be with us too.... not sure ...he is 17

Yep.... that is me....I know for a fact my daughter will be with us...but still not sure on my son..he needs to work (got a speeding ticket & now needs to pay big time). If he stays home, she may bring along a friend of hers who is 16 .... not 100% on that though. Either way...we will be at the HRH... just drop me an email..... or a post :)

Showtimes: 11:30, 12:45, 2:00, 3:45 if we also want to try to meet at a show, let me know which one! I'll also be trying to go to the 2:30 and 5:30 Beetlejuice shows.

On Saturday, I can meet at the 11:30 show of ghostbusters. I'll make sure my family is dragged (kicking and screaming) so we can be there by 11:15. ;) I would really like to see a show. If anyone wants to meet up before that, we'll be at MIB by 9:00 A.M. until 11:00.

I've met phamton..but you should have no problem finding me...just ask Dark Marauder, SpideyHulk, phamton, JessicaR, etc, etc...:p I have my neon yellow seat cushion...believe me, I'm the only one that carries around one of those! I get to my spot at the GB Show early and am ALWAYS front and center for the show...even if I have to get there 75 minutes early to keep someone from taking it! :rotfl: I'll have a backpack looking thing that's black-blue which I carry my camera, camcorder, and CD player, but seriously...just the seat cushion will be able to single me out!! :D

You could get a 3 bedroom house for that much in some areas here. That is not unreasonable at all. Now as for teachers, I have such a respect for all of them, but from what I hear, they are not paid well or enough at all.

Flyfly--still would like to meet you next week IF you are able to come back, but I know with holidays etc. it may be difficult to return so soon. If we do make it to US on 12/20 it won't be until mid afternoon. I'll look for you at the last GB show. I'd like to make it to the parade that afternoon too. Very tentative. We may not even leave Cincinnati until Saturday morning :( in which case we will not arrive in Orlando until late night. I am trying to get out of town Friday afternoon around 4PM but will see how it goes. Lots to do before we head out.

IMGONNABE40! - well, I might be able to go...do you have a husband who wouldn't mind doing something with my dad while we see a couple GB Shows? My mom can't take me because her sister is coming down to spend Christmas with us and she wants to spend time with her...but my dad won't go if he's going to be by himself all day (he won't want to go to all the Ghostbuster Shows...lol). But my mom didn't mind the idea of my dad taking me...

I might not be at the last Ghostbusters Show on Saturday :9 :9 my mom just told me we have to leave at 3:00 to go to Lakeland for a family Christmas Party...grrr!! :p However, I'll let you know as time gets closer...especially if we can figure some way to convince my dad to take me by himself!!
