I just made a PS for the princess storybook breakfast. I had a few questions for those that have been.
I had to give my cc#. Do they charge 10pp like CRT or is it just to hold the PS?
Does the person checking in have to present the cc? And if so does it have to be in their name? I made the PS for two people, not expecting to have to give my cc# So it is in my name!
It is for 8:40 on a day that Epcot has EMH. I know WS is closed still, but if the person whose name is on the cc has to be present to check in can I walk with them to the podium?
TIA!

We did an early seating in July when we went. They had a line marked for those attending the breakfast where we could enter early, DCM had a clipboard, we just gave our name (park was not open yet not EMH day) and we were able to go in. When the meal was over, server asked if we wanted to use card we made reservation with, or charge to room, etc. We were able to add our own tip.
hope this helps

We had an 8:30am reservation for Thanksgiving Morning. Disney switched the EMH so Thanksgiving, Thursday, was EMH at Epcot. We were at the WS entrance at 7:50 expecting to be allowed in to walk to Norway. We have a 2yr old who likes to walk, real slow. They had us wait and enter with the rest of the EMH people. It wasn't a big deal, just a line I wasn't expecting. We walked freely in the direction of England and Canada (the other way was chained off) past the plaza area. At this point most everyone went to FW and those going to the breakfast went toward Norway.
There was no one checking names until we were at the restaurant podium. Then it was just a normal check in for a PS; giving the name the reservation is made in. My understanding is that the cc # is just charged for a no show. We paid for the breakfast with a voucher - not the cc.
I hope this helps.

Having made this PS for Feb a few days ago this is what I was told. To give them my credit card that they will hold only if we fail to show up or cancel within 48 hours is when our card will be charged. $10.pp When we arrive we will make sure they give us back our card number as we DID show up. We then will pay in cash when we are finished eating.

I am not sure what good getting your card number back will do. They have it. However, I did this breakfast and my card was not charged.
