cool. rbf and save ferris are cool. weezer is awesome. i love that band. (i'm trying to learn to play "only in dreams" well, i'm probably booking a gig soon and i'd love to play that song.) i don't really like the rest though, but better than some others.

I like alternative stuff like Finger Eleven, Incubus, Staind, Deftones, Linkin Park & Sum 41 and I like punk stuff like Gob, MXPX, Fenix TX, Good Charlotte, the Ataris, New Found Glory & Blink 182 (well their OLD music.. the new stuff is WAYYY too poppy):rolleyes: . I listen to SOME pop... if it's on the radio & there's nothing else on, but i'm not a teeny bopper... :rolleyes:

Mind if I take up this fight? Just want to say, that Limp Bizkit is kinda a sell-out b/c their music got wwaaayyy poppy....much like Blink's did, but hey, that's what happens. Personally, I hope this debate does not continue beyond this, but hey, that's just me.:rolleyes:

I've never believed in the concept of a sell-out. Limp Bizkit, as most musicians, like 2 things. Playing music and getting paid well for it. You have to ask yourself, did Limp Bizkit change their style, or did "teeny-boppers" just start liking their style. If you compare their old stuff to their new stuff, their old stuff is actually poppier(that is no where near a word). C'mon, tell me that Faith isn't poppy. If you listen to their most recent CD it has a lot of rap influences. If they have changed their styles, they've made it less like what teeny-boppers like and more of what rap fans like. Limp Bizkit can't decide who their fans are, if some little teeny wants to piss off her parents by liking Limp Bizkit, then more power to her. And if they're sell-outs for changing their style, thats just ridiculous, look at all the past artists that experimented with different music styles. The Beatles(all the time), Van Morrison, Elton John, ACDC, Michael Jackson, Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews(especially), and so on......

One more note: If you listen to Blink's music, its very similiar all throughout all of their cd's. Its only considered poppy now because everyone loves Blink182's music.

I didn't want to start something......I was just saying that's why they're considered sellouts....and yea I do listen to Blink's old stuff and some of their "newer" stuff is a lot more "poppy" (i made the word up...i know its not a real word)....look I didn't come to this board to get into fights and be attacked for stuff.....if that's what this is gonna turn into then I don't want any part of it.....people can like whatever they want, I was just putting in my two cents.....
