Thanks Liz. I used a Kodak easyshare 6340. It takes wonderful pics!!! Make sure if you get nightshots though, that you use a tripod. They look horrible unless you hold the camera perfectly steady.

For the fireworks shots, just make sure you use the tripod and set the camera on night shot, and click away!!!!

Wow Julie!! I'm going to have to order some prints of your photos for MY picture album!! I'm so happy to hear that you love your Kodak 6340 - I just ordered it today for my daughter's Christmas present - she's a new mom and is going crazy shooting pictures of my granddaughter - I got her the printer/dock also - do you have and use that? Thanks again for the wonderful pics - now I HAVE to plan a Christmas trip for next Dec.!:smooth:

Feel free to order them. I just love all the fireworks photos, my sister about had a fit when she saw them :) I don't have the photo dock, but I have seen some pictures printed with it and they are awesome!!! I need to get me a new photo printer hehehe!!! December is a wonderful time to go, there were hardly any crowds as you can see from the daytime castle photos, those were taken on Thursday about 11:00am.

Thanks guys!!! Now I just have to figure out which ones to get blown up!! A couple of those fireworks pics would be great as posters, but then.... where to hang them???? LOL

I bought all kinds of toys for my digital camera for our last WDW trip and I think the wide angle lens was most useful. UNFORTUNATELY! I did NOT bring my tripod (d'oh!) and I regret it. I didn't want to lug it around but I wish I would have for all those night shots. I was able to find some very stable WDW trash cans instead, but it wasn't the same!

Upload those to the DIS so you can win photo of the week - I wish my shots were like that - I guess I have to go back!

Great pics! My question is about the crowds though. We're thinking of going in 2004 at the same time, probably anywhere from the 2nd to the 9th of December. Were the crowds bad and how was the weather? Is it warm enough to go to the water parks or pools? I noticed you were wearing jeans and no jacket, great for me but my girls would like it hot enough to go swimming. Thanks a bunch!

The crowds were very low with the exception of Saturday. But then of course, you have all the locals and the weekenders in. The daytime pics you see of the castle were taken about 10-11 on Thursday and there was hardly anyone around for those. The weather was interesting tho. Thur and Fri were comfortable, cfould have worn shorts on Thur. Saturday was cold. Even though it was cold, I did see lots of kids swimming at the Beach Club. (the pools are heated) It really seems to be a wonderful time to visit!!!
