View Full Version : Disney Visa Deal
Has anyone looked into whether it pays to get the Disney Visa for the Deals they are running. "Kids stay free"
the interest rates seem kinda high but I can't seem to make up my mind.
Thanks

I have a Disney Visa and plan to always pay it off before the interest is charged. I signed up because I believe once the Disney Club expires this December, the Visa may be the only way to get deals. It definitely isn't a card to get if you want to keep a balance on it. There are much better cards with lower interest rates.

Remember that you pay no interest for 6 months on Disney vacations booked on your Disney card--so if you can divide the full amount by 6 and pay that much each month you'll get the extra perks (100 Disney Dollars) and the 1% back.

I called the Disney Visa and asked if they would lower my interest rate and they did to 7.9%. This works for most major credit cards. Not sure about department store cards.

I am still waiting for a reply from the Disney Visa. I applied online November 16th and have not received a yes or no from them yet. Keep that in mind if you are going to book. I have since booked the trip under a regular Visa and was told I could change the package when I get the card so that I will receive the $100. Unfortunately, I have already lost out on the $200 deposit that was required.
How did you get the low interest rate. I called the best they could do was 10%.
Thank you

We booked the kids stay free package and made the downpayment with the Disney Visa. Were told it's only 0% for 6 months if you have no other charges. Any one else had this issue?

We actually got 0% APR for 6 months on all of our purchases made with the card. I think it's what they are offering on their site.

We also have the Disney Visa and I believe it is 0% APR for 6 months on all purchases. It's an introductory thing. I've been using mine for everything lately and havne't been charged interest yet.
I don't know if the mail was slow or what, but it did take 10 days for my last payment to get there and be posted....they charged me a $28 late fee...GRRRRR....which I promptly called about and they removed for me. It pays to be a squeaky wheel sometimes!

My DD is currently 9 yearS old. She will be 10 when we go to DW.
What kind of proof of age do they require?
Thanks
