FL Res $99 park hop pass WHEN??

Does anyone have an idea of when disney releases these tickets? I've purchased them in the past but I've already forgotten when I've used them. So what I really want to know is if Disney usually has the $99 pass available in January?

Any info would be great. Thanks!!

We have been here for 3 1/2 years now and it seem like they alternate when they get released. This year it was for summer (Apr -Sept). I want to say last year it was Sept- Dec but I could be wrong. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when they offer these passes. We went w/ the seasonal pass which is 189 plus tax and doesn't include parking w/blackout dates of 2 weeks at Easter and Christmas and then June and July. Pretty good deal as it comes w/some benefits(discounts on purchases made in World of Disney Downtown and some lunch discounts and sometimes room discounts as well!)

I talked to a Disney Store CM earlier this year around June or July, and she was manager as a matter of fact, and she told me those tickets usually come out around April for the current year running from about April to September. I asked her, because I was going to purchase mine early for our trip in 2006, but she said they do expire so to wait til April of the year we are going to buy them.

The passes aren't $99 anymore, they are $109 before tax. So as far as I know, those passes aren't available in January. :(
