Merry Christmas EVerybody by Slade is a classis cheesy christmas tune! I especially love the bit when he just shouts "ITS CHRISTMASSSSSSSS" always have to join in!! ha ha

Slade for me as well but Wizzard definitely is a good runner-up. Mud's Lonely This Christmas was another from the same era that sticks in the mind.

Slade's is THE Xmas anthem, but I also love Chris Rea's Driving Home for Xmas.

I put my Xmas CD on this week while writing the cards out, usually does the trick::yes::

oh yes I love the Mariah Carey one! Me and DH used to listen to that one all the time when we were dating!! all together now ahhhhhhhhhh

I love White Christmas by Bing Crosby, I find it quite moving.

I love all Christmas songs, and most traditional carols.

The only one I can't listen to is Little Donkey. I'd been merrily singing along with this song for years without absorbing the words, until my daughter, when she was about 6, asked me not to sing it. When I asked why she started crying - she felt sorry for the little donkey and it's heavy load. It still brings a tear to my eye.
