We're thinking of going mid-January and have never been there that time of year. Do we worry about the weather? Crowded on MLKJr. b-day?

Thanks

we went jan 18-25 of this year. low low low crowds!

the mlk holiday itself we were in mgm and it was crowded, but after that, dead.

weather, jeans and tees. a light jacket for evening. we unfortunately hit unheard of 30 degree weather when we were there! that's not normal though.

it's a great time to go!

oh, it's even less crowded over at us/ioa! a ghost town when we went.

We go every year in January (late end through ground hog day - for whatever reasons!!) - Weather is as noted above but we have heat heat spells as well - high 70's low 80's!

This is our trip without the kids. No lines. No crowds.

Have fun

We will be there between Jan 19-26, looking forward to getting away from the cold weather, weather in questionable but usually pleasant, 70's. See ya there. :)

We were there Jan.25th this year for a week. Two days before I got there they had record daytime highs in the 40's. My sister was there with all her kids and no winter clothes! When we got there it warmed up to mid 70s and we had a couple just 80 days. All were sunny and beautiful. The parks were quiet and wonderful to tour.

(I'm just now putting together my 2004 January trip....I think I love having those parks to myself. :))

Are you talking about next month January or next year 2005 January? Just be aware that Jan. is one of the lowest points month, so the villas are pretty full up, at least the week we are going. I am on a waitlist for next month for the BCV's. But OKW is available.

Yep..DVC'ers here for Jan 11-16 at VWL. LEaving before MLK weekend but I 've heard it's not too bad.

Love the off season. As a kid we always went during July and would spend 2hrs to ride 1 ride :earseek: that's just mad!!!!!!!! I love just walking onto everything. One time we thought Splash Mtn was closed and we accidently sneaked in because we walked the entire way through the line and there was no one. We actually surprised the CM's leaning on the rails just waiting for riders!!!

And yes the weather is totally unpredictable. We usually don't finalize the suitcase until the day or 2 before after checking every weather forcast!!
