In another 4 weeks my favorite mail deliveries will be arriving.

The new Garden and Flower Catalogs. With the pines in the front gone :) I need to do a complete overhall of the front.

Once the holidays are over will be doing some planning. Lots of shade loving plants will have to be moved.

Are you planning any new gardens this spring or just filling in some old ones?

Wow Mamu. You are a die-hard gardener! I haven't even begun to think about spring. I'm honestly enjoying the break, not thinking I should be outside doing this or that. I suppose once it gets yucky enough outside I'll start longing to be in the garden.

I think it's these gross NE winters lately that has you thinking of spring before winter officially arrives.

It been nastly around here lately, windy and cold teens with wind chills in the single digit, thats a little colder then I like this time of year. Now there saying 6-8 inches of snow. Almost sounds like a repeat of last winter, I sure hope not. I was shoveling snow off the flower gardens in April.

I hate watching dollar sign's, being wasted on oil. I guess if I owned an oil company I wouldn't feel that way, nothing like a gusty wind to kick on the furnace every time it blows.

I could use a thawing and it's not even winter yet.
