We are booked on a direct commair flight Sept. 8th from MCO to RDU. From the comments here, is it likely we will have to be rebooked? Going down to Florida, we are going on a regular Delta jet via Atlanta.

more than likely you will be rebooked. it doesn't look good at this point. they have lost so much$$$$$$$ by being out on strike its a wonder they haven't folded already.

I have not checked the Delta website lately, but they may have already cancelled Comair flights through your travel date. You might want to go ahead and call Delta to rebook. I did that a few weeks ago and they were great about it. However, I would do it ASAP. They will call you, but they don't do that until about 7 days in advance and your first choice for new flights might not be available that late!

Are they cancelling flights that are 60 days out? This flight is for September 8th. Thanks for the info, and I will watch it very closely.

I hope it happens because it would be great if we could use those non-stop tickets instead of having to through Atlanta.
Comair flights are still being cancelled 60 days out until the Union ratifies and a back to work schedule can be arranged. The ratification process includes a series of meetings in selected cities follow by a telephone vote. They keep using the work "expidited" but who knows How long that will take:confused:
