Wow!

All we need now is for the TGI Fridays in the UK to adopt this!!

Yes!!!

I ate from the Ruby Tuesday's low carb menu this weekend (fabulous) and soon I will have another choice. Atkins is getting easier and easier. :)

We were at Friday's this weekend. The manager said Jan. 1st is the launch date. I can't wait!

That's great news. :)

When we go there now I always get the chicken and cheese and sub a salad for the potatoes. DH gets the cobb salad.

I really find it's not hard to get an Atkins friendly meal at any restaurant. I've never had anyone say no when I asked to sub a salad. :)

Great news, I just ate at TGIF last week and don't think I did the truely Atkins thing.
I had the roast beef au jus, without the roll, and grilled veggies. The veggies tasted awful sweet, but the waitress insisted they just had butter on them. I ate the squash, but didn't touch the onions or carrots.
The meat sat like a lump on the plate, with a slice of cheese on top. Not displayed nicely like the Ruby Tuesday's food.
I just wish these restaraunts would get something else for us dieters to drink besides Diet Coke. The caffeine in the soda is not approved on the Atkins diet, and I don't enjoy water with my meals.

I also saw an add on tv tonight about new low carb wraps at subway. Starting at 11 grams. I don't have any details as to size or taste. It might be something I can do on the go in a few weeks.

They also have new low carb fajitas at Don Pablos. There is mah-mahi, steak, and chicken. They have a low carb sauce and wrapped in lettuce. We're trying them tonight. Can you tell I haven't been in the mood to cook since Thansgiving?;)

Mickey527 - At least the Ruby Tuesday in Indianapolis has caffeine free diet. My DH always gets excited about that because he is a soda junkie!

:sunny: Woo Hoo! I have a $25 gift cert for TGIFridays on it's way! :sunny: Now I really can't wait to go use it! :bounce:

I do agree about the need for restaurants to serve caffeine free diet sodas. The only place I've found so far around here that does is Boston Market. I wish more restaurants would catch on to thart one.

Here's the menu: http://www.fridays.com/menu/healthymenu.htm

Not very extensive, but they are trying. :) I have had the Garlic Chicken already (before it was on the "Atkins" menu) and it is very good.

I wish that they would add a sugar free cheese cake too. :)
