Does anyone have restaurant recommendations for CityWalk? DW and I will be staying at PBH. We're probably going to try Emeril's for dinner (the andouille-crusted redfish sounds fantastic!) but we're not sure where to go on other nights. Since CityWalk is so close to the parks and PBH, it seems like it might also be a good option for lunch. Are there any restaurants that you would recommend avoiding?

I've never tried the Latin Quarter, but I hear the food there is good.

I really don't know which ones to avoid, however Margaritiville was fabulous!:p

I highly recommend NBA City...it is located b/w the 2 parks and is a great place for lunch.
They have very good sandwiches (I have had the mahi mahi on 2 different visits) and their mozzarella tomato salad is nice.
The atmosphere is very cool and relaxing. Lights are fairly dim, 2 huge screen tv's showing classic moments in basketball history and bios of players, etc.
It's not one of those loud, in your face restaurants.
Wonderful service.

Hard Rock Cafe on the other hand, is. I enjoyed the atmosphere there for an early dinner on Saturday night. We had great service and it was fun to look at all the stuff (I've never been to a HRC before) but the food is quite bland--just very mediocre.

We've also enjoyed Margaritaville on past visits.
Mythos is a great place to dine as well.

Have a wonderful time, whatever you choose

If Pat Obrien's happens to be open for lunch it is excellent otherwise give it a shot for dinner. We think the latin quarter is outstanding....we like margaritaville for a quick snack. We usually only order off the appetizer menu at margaritaville...we have found the food to be very bland...and not worth the money. Emeri's is very good...you will enjoy that. Make sure you make a reservation before you leave..they book up way in advance. NBA was also good...the nascar cafe food looks very good as well but we haven't had a chance to try it yet. If you want walk up service...the latin express has a great cuban sandwich and yummy desserts. You are going to love the PBH, we have stayed there five times and keep going back for more. It is very handy...just to hop the boat and have all that great dining just minutes away.

Wow...it looks like we'll need to stay for another week! ;)

Based on many of the posts on this board, I think that we'll probably give Mythos a try...

I didn't realize that they served meals at Pat O'Brien's. I really enjoyed the original in New Orleans, so we'll at least have to check out the Dueling Pianos some evening. When we we're leaving the Universal parks last summer, Margaritiville also looked like a fun place.

I hadn't really considered NBA City, but it sounds neat. :)

Barry, I've also heard great things about the Latin Quarter! :D

We loved Margaritaville. As a matter of fact, we ate there two nights in a row. Must have been the delicious food!

we really enjoyed all our CW meals

Pastamoire'...good (american) italian food. The family meals are a great deal. Seemed a bit pricey at first but we had so much food left over and asked for desert to be boxed we were so full. He brought out 2 large take out containers full of an assortment of deserts.

Margarettaville..the food was good, bot fantastic but good. The mango margaretta is wonderful and the band playing htat night was great.

NBA city..I was very suprised by it. I really expected it to be "in your face" with basketball stuff. I was not looking foward to eatign there but it was chosen by my DS. The food and atmospher were really good.

Not CW but you really must try Mythos. It was the best food I have had in a long time.
