Anyone looking to share an Illuminations Cruise during <b>March</b>? If you have reserved an Illuminations Cruise and are willing to share, please post your date here. Perhaps we can coordinate this and help each other out.

When you post your reply, use the subject box to tell whether you <b>need</b> space (and how many you need) on a cruise or if you <b>have</b> space available and <b>include the dates</b>. I think that might make it a little easier to coordinate a match.

Even with the new changes, you can still get an Illuminations Cruise

There have been some changes made in the Illuminations Cruises. First, they are no longer called Illuminations Cruises, all of the fireworks cruises at WDW are known as "Specialty Cruises" because they cannot guarantee that you will see Illuminations.

There are also daytime "Specialty" cruises. They are booked at two hour intervals beginning at 12 noon. In order to have a chance to see Illuminations, you will need to call 407-WDW-PLAY 90 days in advance and request the 8:00 PM cruise, telling them that you hope to see Illuminations (or the Magic Kingdom fireworks). They will then schedule your cruise for 1/2 hour prior to the beginning of Illuminations.

Why can't they guarantee that you will see Illuminations? These cruises last 45 minutes, only. If, for some reason, Illuminations is delayed, your boat will still return to the marina when 45 minutes have passed, whether or not Illuminations has finished.

we may have room for you during that time. I don't have my exact date here at home but I can provide nextweek. I have rented a cruise for us (ds 11, ds 7, dd 4 and dgm) during our spring break. We have invited our relatives (d-aunt, d-cousin (maybe d-uncle, although he rarely does anything disney with us) who live in Orlando. ) so if this seems acceptable then let us know. the main reason i even considered adding your family is due to your location. I was born in evansville, and so was the d-gm (my mohter) and her father still lives there, so.....

My Dear and I are going to be at WDW from 3-19 thru 3-26. It's just the two of us for our 30th Wedding Anniversary (3-22).

I already have plans for the night of 3-22 (What? I can't tell you that; it's a secret!), but would be interested to go any other night.
I didn't even know these cruises existed before now; I could'nt have booked a boat for just us two anyway......

But if you need somebody to share expenses and have room for two quiet folks who would sit in the back and wouldn't take up much room (Dear is only a Size 4), maybe we could join you.

I might ask you to take our picture if it's not too much trouble!

What about a "Wishes" cruise? I have heard that there are more boats available. I tried to get a reservation for the Illuminations, but they are sold out on our dates. I am considering the Wishes Cruise, but not sure about it. We did the Illuminations Cruise last year and it was awesome! Sure would hate to be disappointed.

Deb - this is the posting for March - there will be one for June soon enough. I may be wrong. Look up at the top of the forum and you will see the posting for Illuminations Cruises - what they are and how to find one. You're probably going to have to post this plea again in another thread, though. You also may be able to secure your own reservation and then get others to join you. Aren't the reservation made 90 days out?
