Projected opening date for Stitch ride?

My dd's LOVE stitch, does anyone know when this ride is scheduled to open? All I can find is "2004" we will be in WDW February of 2004 and I hope (although doubt) that it will be open.

Alot of sites say "late 2004" - that's all I've seen on it. So I guess you'll have to plan another trip for DD to see Stitch! :)
