I have been looking for fanny packs for the kids ages 6 and 8....small enough for them to handle and big enough for their autograph books to fit in....any suggestions where I can find them and not pay a fortune for them...I have checked walmart and target and no luck?!?!?!? Thanks.

Did you see the Coleman Kids at Target? If you didn't you can find them on the net at coleman.com. That is what I got my 2 DS, 8yo & 9yo.

Well, I don't know about not spending a fortune. But the one I got at Disney World holds my son's autograph book, pen and penny press book perfectly. It is an adult size one but I fastened it with a safety pin so it fits him. That way he can use it on future trips-or I can if he deems it "not cool". It also says "Walt Disney World" on it so it's a great souvenior. I got it at World of Disney at DTD.

I just looked at the Coleman's for Kids fanny packs at Target yesterday. I THINK they were around $10. It even had a place for a water bottle.

We used the colemans kids ones for our kids last year and they held their autograph book, disposable camera, and a couple of baggies of snacks. They were great! I don't remember the price but I'm "frugal" so I'm sure they weren't much over $10 if at all.
One thing though- Our kids were only 4 1/2 and 6 then and the full water bottle made it a little heavy for them. We were there in October so they only carried the bottles the first day.
Having their own pack made life easier for the DH and I 'cause we didn't have to stop and dig around in our backpack every time somebody was hungry or wanted to take a picture or get an autograph...
