Just want to start off by giving due respect to Delswife. It was because of you that i started reading the trip boards. This trip report is in no way anywhere close to your level of greatness but i feel it is my duty as as a DISer to report. That said, let's begin!

Ok so I have 2 days left before this suprise trip. I was planning to go again with the boyfriend (muah) in january, fear not-the trip is still on james, when out of nowhere, my aunt and uncle invite me to go with them for thanksgiving break. Well, after much consideration, total of ...... 0.00001 of a second, I agree.

I figured why not? I love disney. I feel like i have a lot to offer my family by going, being a complete planning freak and what not. Plus, luck being on my side, i have an annual pass and we are staying in a timeshare, so my expenses will be minimal....planning for my trip in january and all:tongue: .

so i agree. hmmm... funny how my uncle waited until my ticket was booked to tell me that 21 other people were going! now i'm all for passing the magic along, but the ages for this group range from 7 months to 85 years old. Uh huh. that's right. I'm 23 so this will def. test my patience. To make the trip magical though, i have decided to make it my mission to convert my 16 year old cousin into a disney nut!
OPERATION CONVERT CUZ!
so far so good. she is really getting into the planning stage. Ok, i forgot to mention that in the midst of all this, i go to school full-time and am working about 50 hours a week for a little extra $$$$. So yes, i have about 5 hours total of sleep over the past 3 days.....FUN!

anyways, just thought i would get the trip forum going and let you all have something to look forward to (not like there aren't already some really good trip reports out!). We will be leaving saturday and staying at the Vistana resort (my first stay off property in a long time). Looking forward to it. I'll keep you all posted, hopefully there will be a bed/sheet/floor for me to sleep on.

until then my DISers-

Can't wait to hear about your trip. The idea of going with 21 people would probably put me in a coma! :faint: You've got the right attitude I can tell, convert the CUZ! Love it! Have fun!!
I think Samantha Brown rocks too!!!

We've tried to get our family of 18 to travel down for a vacation--I'll be waiting to read of your ups and downs upon your return.

I just took (got back yesterday at 4:45am) a surprise last minute short notice trip to Hawaii for 4 days with some of my family members who were going already. There were 10 of us in all and all I can say is that with 21 people in all you are going to need to take lots of deep breaths and just go with the flow. Your Disney prowess should come in handy. Have a great time.

Yes it's true. She's leaving me for a week to go to Disney with her family!!! But that's okay as it will make our trip all the more special! Love you Affie Jun!
