I have been a member to my points sense 1999, but stopped collecting points, because I had to get a job:( ! Well I went back the other day to start collecting points and there doesn't seem to be vary many points available, unless you shop online. Well I really don't want to do a lot of shopping online. To me thats spending money to make a little money. Is it really worth it!! Someone please clue me in!!

You're right that there are very few point-earning opportunities for non-shoppers at MyPoints. I think that you'll find that this of true of almost all RPs today.

You can still earn points at MyPoints for doing surveys, a few free signups or trial memberships, and by clicking on the links in your email. However, it will be slow going.

I do a lot of online shopping...I really can't stand the malls anymore. I don't think that I spend any more online than I would at B&M stores. Consider the fact that I'm not stopping in for a Starbuck's Frappaccino or Auntie Anne's pretzel while I shop and I probably come out ahead. Plus, I get rewarded for doing it.

I mainly get my points for clicking the links in emails and doing small signups or surveys. Like the Kraft one the other day or the Pedigree offer. I did do the Tupperware offer when it was offered numerous times......800 points per offer thats like getting $5 back for each time I used it so yes I did spend money to buy the stuff but then turned around and got GCs for places I would be going to in December anyway like Applebees, WalMart, and Shell. They'll most likely have some great offers and tons of emails from now until Christmas so I will do some online shopping for gifts. Granted I'll have to pay shipping but I wont have to drive to a major city (1 hour away) to do my shopping saving me gas and the cost of lunch. Granted January through October you may not accumulate many points but the points do add up.
