Has anyone done the Leave a Legacy at Epcot? I was wondering if they can produce the etching from a photograph that I bring (the person I would like to "Leave a Legacy for won't be able to come to WDW) or do they have to take the picture themselves? Also are there any words with the image or just the image itself?
and finally...are there any other "commerative" type of things that can be done...for instance you used to be able to get the "bricks" (which I don't believe are available any more...correct?).
Thanks for all of your help!!

I've done Leave A Legacy and no, they can't do an etch from a photo. The only way I heard it might be remotely possible is to have the person's head knocked out with a light blue background (like movies before special effects backgrounds are added). Also it would have to be around an 8x10. So basically the answer is no.
Instead of a picture, I did an inscription for a friend of mine that worked out just as well!!!
And you are correct that there are no more bricks at MK. Hope this helps!!!! :teeth:

I'm not sure about leaving a legacy with a photo but you can leave an inscription without a picture. The bricks are gone and I can't think of any other things that you can "leave behind".
They have this really cool laser etching thing now, but it's not a commemerative type thing, more of a souvenier.
Here is our Leave a Legacy tile from 2000.

Do you remember the limits on an inscription? Like how many spaces and lines. Thanks

6 Lines - 9 Characters per line (spaces do count)
