I'm down .8 this week. I'm thinking maybe that has something to do with the big loss I had last week? Either way it's not a gain so I'll take it! :) Only .8 away from my next clippie!

I'm down 2lbs this week. UPDATE - When I weighed in this morning I was actually down 4lbs for the week. Yesterday's weigh in was not at its usual time (already ate and had some coffee and juice). No change in measurements though. I'm happy b/c last week I didn't count points at all but I must have made some good decisions anyway. This week I'm back on track. I've lost 44lbs so far with WISH. Only 1 more lb until I get a shiny new clippie.

Hi Everyone,
I am down 2 more pounds! And I got a new clippie as well. FINALLY!! Wow, for me that's like a visit from the WHOOSH fairy. I have only been losing less than a pound a week or maintaining for the last month.
I moved my dinner hour to an hour later. I stopped eating cheese in the evening and rarely need to snack at all now after dinner. (We used to eat at 5:30; now it's usually about 6:30). Since I don't go to bed until about 11:30, I was usually hungry before bedtime. This one hour difference seemed to help.
Congratulations to all the losers and hang in there all the maintainers or gainers. It sometimes a slow process, but it WILL HAPPEN!

All these downs! Congratulations everybody!
I too am down, but just .2, which is exactly what I want! :)
I think we may need to start another thread as to how much we've lost!! :)

One down for me this week~plus all the gained weight. So I'm :Pinkbounc for joy and have my fingers crossed that:
it sticks! and
it has (re)started a DOWNward trend.
Good luck to all those to post behind me. Win, lose or draw, we are weighting to hear from you!!

I'm down 0.9 this week and now only .4 from a new clippie. I feel like I've been stuck between 5 & 10 for sooooooooooooo long. AND I even got a countdown timer for my trip this week!!
Have a great week and see you next week with a new clippie!

I went up 1.8 pounds this week, but I knew I would gain. I do want to thank everyone here for the encouragement you gave me on another thread. I am back on track this week, as I want very much to re-earn my 5 pound clippie before my wedding day. Since I will need to try to maintain once I've had my final gown fitting, that only gives me a few weeks. I'm gonna give it my very best shot, though! :)

You have lost 342 POUNDS????
Nancy
11-09-2003, 11:43 PM
I stayed the same this week...no loss, no gain. This is good though because lately it's been gain one week lose it the next. WW gave me a handout on plateaus so I'm reading that and hoping it gives me some advice on how top kickstart the weight loss again. I am exercising 3-4 times a week, so even if I stay the same I am at least toning up a bit.
Claire4dpins
11-10-2003, 04:42 AM
Well, I have stayed the same this week - which I am trying to look on the positive side of & say it is not a gain!!
I do feel a little down about it though - I KNOW I shouldn't - because I did stick to induction rules exactly and I have done WATP 2 miles five times this week. That exercise is pretty impressive for me because up to these past few weeks I was not doing any exercise at all. I was hoping to see some change in the measurements - but nothing there for a couple of weeks either.
Well, heres hoping I will finally get rid of the last pound to get my 25 clippie by next week - 2 months with the 20lb one has been too LONG!! Good luck to everyone in the coming week - down we go I hope,
Claire:wave:

I have another 1 lb. gone this week! Yeah!
Week got off to a great start by doing WATP 3 times. Slipped up later in the week with lots of stress (and some stress eating).
This is a new week and I'm ready to go!
I'm 19 lbs. and 17 inches down from when I started this journey and while the journey is far from over I'm happy with the path I'm taking.

I didn't weigh in last week, and have not been counting any points since Oct 30th. I seem to be retaining a lot of water right now but I got on the scales anyway. I'm up 3 lbs. I'm sure once I am back on track, that water weight will go away quickly. Not even sure why I just couldn't be bothered to journal last week. Maybe I just needed a break, or maybe I was just being lazy  So I am now 4 lbs away from my 35 pound clippie instead of the 1 lb I was before. But that's OK. Onward and downward from here ... congrats to everyone.

I'm not going to weigh in until tomorrow. I had a pretty rough weekend, and ate a great deal of salty foods. (Mexican, Ceasae Salad and Japanese Hibachi Style.) Though they were mostly veggies, I can tell by the way my clothes are fitting, I'm the stay puffed marshmallow lady. I otherwise stayed on track with my eating plan. I also had a badly twisted ankle Friday afternoon and did not exercise all weekend. I'm still favoring it a bit, but I will try the elliptical this afternoon, and I'm sure Pilates will be no problem. So hoping for the best tomorrow. Would love to grab that 10 pound clippie! (I know I didn't gain anything from this time last week, but if I don't see a loss, I'm going to have a cow!)
Congrats to all you losers! The rest of us will just be

I've stayed the same since last Wednesday - 245. Not bad considering the 5 lb. loss the week before, so as long as I'm not gaining I'm a happy broad.

Ok,
So I leave for vacation tomorrow and for the past two weeks I have sort of been testing myself by eating more points. Well it's worked pretty well loosing well the past few weeks. This week I gained 3. Either it caught up with me, or I am holding on to some water. It was down a little this morning, so I am thinking maybe I am holding on to a little water too.
I really hope I don't gain too much this coming week and a half on vacation. It's a little scary, but I will overcome it. Whatever I gain, after all the walking at the parks will hopefully come off as easily as it went on.

Well, it's just a pound!! But I can hear Kath's voice in the back of my head screaming to CELEBRATE!!!! YAHOOOOOO YAHOOOOOO goodbye 185- hello 184!!!! But at the same time I can't but help to feel bad for 184...I haven't seen this number in 9 years and alas I'm gonna work my tail off to see that I don't see it next week...in fact I feel sorry for 183- I plan to skip right past that fella and introduce myself to 182 for a week- and dadgummit if I just don't blow right past the 180's to see 179 by Thanksgiving- it can be done!! And I will never see the 180's again!!! ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS!!!!

I'm finally checking in again! I've been a bad WISHer - I haven't visited in weeks. (Although I have sent mental Pixie Dust to all!) Anyway, nothing too much to report. I lost 2 lbs. but before I could collect a nice new clippie I gained it back! :yo-yo: At least I managed not to eat the leftover Halloween candy.

4.5lb lost!!!
Looks good until I admit that over the previous 2 weeks I had gained 4.5lbs and I've been ill with a flu type bug.
The important thing now is not to put it on again once I'm eating properly.

I'm down 1 lb this week. :sunny:
I'm still having trouble staying on plan, but I am doing a little bit better. It's amazing how a little cheating here & there on vacation & seeming to get away with it can reactivate cravings that I had gotten rid of for a while.
I have 2 more lbs to go for my next clippie, & I really want to earn it before Thanksgiving. With your support I know I can do it.

I'm very happy to announce I have 3 pounds gone this week! I was SOOO worried that my "scale dance" last week was too effective, and I wouldn't be able to maintain that loss - instead I kept movin' on down! Only 2 pounds to a new clippie, and 3 pounds to make my Thanksgiving goal. Gobble gobble! :p Exercising is still going great - 92 days in a row. I hope to hit 100 days next Wednesday, but that doesn't mean I'm stopping! My 3-month measure day at Curves is coming up on Saturday - let's see those inches disappear. :magnify:
I did really well with eating this week. DH was on a business trip for 4 days, and I didn't eat out once! I planned my meals and stuck to the plan, and it obviously worked. I've finally discovered how tasty broccoli can be! I'm also getting better all the time at resisting unnecessary breads and treats - only 1/2 a piece of bread when out to dinner on Saturday, and didn't even look at the cookies at a concert on Sunday.
Work is stressful right now (a big disappointment, job becoming a little less secure, plus a lot of changes), and using food as a consolation is a constant temptation. In fact, a batch of really bad job troubles back in February led me to at least a 10-pound weight gain earlier this year. I have resolved that I deserve better than to let my stupid job derail all the REAL CHANGES I have made in my life over the past three months, and I won't let all this stress affect my eating and exercise plans. I deserve to be the healthiest person I can be, and nothing can keep me from that goal!
I've also vowed to only weigh once a week, on Tuesday mornings. I was starting to take a peek at the scale during the week, hopping on the scale at Curves or at home. As expected, I started to get obsessed over the number, and would develop an expectation of what I should see on Tuesday mornings - and then be disappointed when I saw a smaller loss. No more! It was hard to resist the tempting scale at Curves last night, but I was strong, and it was worth it when I was pleasantly surprised with the 3-pound loss this morning.
It's been exactly 3 months since that switch flipped to "healthy" in my mind - and I'm not going to let anything flip it back!

I didn't have a good week last week. I only lost .2 lbs and I've been averaging over 2 lbs before. I ate well so I'm a bit puzzled as to why I didn't lose. It was either the hour long walk where I got too tired and overstrained my muscles, resulting in temp water weight gain, or some natural peanut butter I tried for the first time.
I'm back losing again now so I hope to have better results this Sunday. :)

I am going to report in after a too long absence. I had trouble getting back on program and was determined not to post again till I had some good news. Last week I lost 4 lbs and at weigh-in today I was down another 1.4. That makes a WISH total of 30 lbs and a WW total of 60!!!
To make it even better, I had my annual visit to my family doctor today to get my blood pressure checked. He was thrilled with my loss and my BP--he is even going to try lowering my bp meds!
This is a long haul but worth it in the long run!! Now I'm off to find that golden clippie!!

Well the scale fairy must have taken pity on me this week. I was down .8 despite pushing my limits on quite a few days, I guess I must have balanced out a few of the days well enough. I am mentally trying to get back on track although I think I have another challenging week ahead again. I was very ready for a maintain week or even a slightly up week's WI, so was thrilled for a tiny movement down.
Congrats to all who did well this week and for the rest of us that held our own or even gained, on to another week's success!

 Been a while for my check in too. DH is home from hospital and I have been eating bad things. WI showed 3 pound gain...not as bad as I know I will top off cuz it started to go up up up. I did ok at first, eating healthy while he was in hospital, then going for walks to de-stress, and doing Pilates when I was not walking. I will be back with my program tomorrow, ate my last chocolate today. Mmmm sorry to say it was good though.

Hi everyone! Lots of losses ... keep up the good work everyone :)
This week, I lost 1.6 lbs :hyper: I was expecting less than a pound but this is great! I got a funny look from the WW receptionist because I'm supposed to be on maintenance ... so I'm probably not suppose to be losing that much. So far, I've lost 22.4 lbs with WW and WISH! I want to keep going and make it an even 25 lbs!

I'm always one of the last to check in, based on my weigh-in day! I only lost .4 lb this week, but I'm happy about it. We were out of town to have "pre-Thanksgiving" at my Grandmother's for a long weekend, AND TOM decided to pay me a visit! I'd be happy if I never saw TOM again! :p
I'm ready for the weekend though, I had a fabulous Italian dinner last night. So, I have vowed to be a good girl for the week... ::yes::

Back from WDW, where I had a three pound gain (not bad considering all the birthday treats!) and happy to report that all three pounds are gone this week. I'm back in the exact same spot as the day I left for vacation two weeks ago. I can live with this as a way of life!
