I am trying to decide when to book my trip to Disney. Could I please have some advice on going the first week in June? Crowds? Weather? Would it be better to go the first week in May? Thanks in advance for any help in my decision.

I'm also looking at a first week in June trip so I'm intrested in these responses.
However if you have the option of first week in May I'm sure that would be less crowded. Not many schools would be out first week in May but quite a few southern schools are out first week in June.

I had the same question last year. We were trying to decide whether to take DS out of school a few days early (last part of May) vs. wait 'till school was officially out (closer to the first of June). Most people who responded said to go with dates in May.
We ended up taking him out of school a few days early and went the toward the last week in May. It was a great time to be at WDW: temps. were milder, crowds were very low. The only down side was Memorial Day w/end, which was really crowded.
NO REGRETS!!! We're looking at doing the same again this year!

We are planning our third early-June trip -- we also don't want to take DD out of school. She gets out the Friday before Memorial Day so early June has worked well for us. We have been during the first two weeks and have found both the weather and crowds very manageable. We are from Texas so the heat and humidity is not a problem for us. We get to see everything we want to with a little planning and FastPasses. It rains a little everyday but as long as you have raingear it is not an issue-sometimes it helps cool things down for a little while. Just keep in mind that the first Saturday in June is Gay Day at MK and that park can get very crowded.
