I have a question about the mock danish recipe.Has anyone tried it yet? What size bowl do you cook it in? I am guessing a small one......... and I am thinking you eat it right out of the bowl.. I am trying to decide what the consistancy is of it when done.

I've made it in a small casserole/large ramekin, and I've made it in a microwave safe cereal bowl. Works just fine either way.
The longer you nuke it, the dryer the "danish" becomes. It's NOTHING like an actual danish, mind you... it's more like the middle of a danish (that really good cream cheese-y part!).
Some like it a little gooey, some like it dryer. If you do it just right, you can get a little gooey in the middle, and dryer on the outside (my favorite).
I eat it right out of the bowl I cook it in, and I think it's best warm.

it sounds great, the middle of a cream cheese danish is the part I like best :D

Mock Danish
2 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1 Tbs. Splenda
1 tsp. lemon concentrate
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
I can't figure out where they get 3 grams of carbs for this. I know the egg has 1, is it the lemon or vanilla? It sounds REALLY good. I may have this for breakfast tomorrow.

I made the mock danish this morning and is it good!!::yes::
I am definately going to make this once a week at least.
I am guessing the 3 carbs comes from the cream cheese -
2oz=2 carbs
and the egg=1 carb.
I am assuming the lemon concentrate is like the little plastic lemons you buy in the produce section?
I didn't have any so I used lemon extract. and used 1/2 tsp of that.
