Hi all~

I know this probably isn't the right place to place this thread since it's dealing with Disneyland but I figured some of you may be able to help. Mods~I posted a similar thread some time ago on the DL board regarding camping and it didn't get any replies so I figured I'd try here. :) Anyone been camping at DL in March? If so, what campground did you stay at? My family and I will be camping for one week in Disneyland the first week of march for my DD's birthday. There are so many campgrounds to choose from. We're leaning towards Canyon RV Park which is part of Featherly Regional Park. Any opinions???

I can't help much, I'm on the wrong side of the country. We plan to go to DL this summer, but we'll be camping in Desert Hot Springs and driving a rental into the city. Don't plan to bring the toad on this trip. In case you're wondering why we are stopping out in the desert, I grew up in Banning and have a sister in Palm Springs so that area is where I use to run and play.

I would definitely try the Canyon RV Park, we stayed a an "RV" park on Ball 4 years ago and it was just a big parking lot with a very small pool. Incredibly hot and the pavement retained the heat too! Unfortunately Disney paved over their own campground (used to go there as a kid, it was wonderful!) to create the new employee parking structure.

I'm pretty sure that we are going to go with Canyon RV Park. I called them up yesterday and they said they would allow both an RV AND a tent on the same site. That was a definate plus for us. Everywhere else they wanted the tent to be put in a different area and charge us an extra $200 for a weeks stay. At Canyon they are going to charge us $256 for a weeks stay for 5 people and 2 cars. Pretty good deal if you ask me. :D Now I just need to make our ressies!!!

Please post a reveiw of Canyon RV Park after you return. We are moving to Ca., and are looking for a good campground in the DL area. We'll be living about 175 miles away.:D

No Problem!!! Although it looks like you will be there before we get to go. We aren't going until March of 2002. :( I sure do wish it was sooner!!!!

Well then,

I guess maybe I might be able to post info about the camping first. Haven't decided when were going yet. I guess we should get settled in our new home first. I'll post if I get any more info about camping in that area.
