We heard about the DVC 3 years ago and had so many questions. Of course, we decided to wait awhile before joining. We found this discussion board about 3 months ago, and finally signed on in June!!!! Just wonder if Disney realizes how good this board really is?:pinkbounc

In February, 2002, we will be staying at the WLV for the first time in a two bedroom with extended family. Any suggestions about the WLV that we should know?

....WELCOME HOME. We just stayed at VWL and loved our stay so much that we added on. Presently, it is my favorite WDW resort.

Be sure to do the lodge tours. They are held every day and you meet in the lobby. We did the Taste of the Lodge Tour and sampled the ribs in the smokehouse and the salmon at Artist Point. We also learned that the Wilderness Lodge is so much more than a "pretty" place. It is amazing the history and detail associated with its construction.

Have a wonderful time on your first trip home and for the next 41 years!!
