My partner and I thought we'd enjoy a nice lunch at this restaurant. We showed up around 1pm and put our names in for a table of two/booth. The lady said there was a ten-fifteen minute wait. This was fine for us. After waiting fifteen minues the hostess brought us upstairs and sat us at a half booth table. We read the menu twice over. Waited and Waited. After waiting twenty minutes a table of five was seated beside us. The waitress comes over and immediately takes there drink orders. We ended up walking out. We told the manager what had happened and all he could offer was to seat us immediately and have us served ASAP. Needless to say we did not take him up on this offer. I would not recommend this restrautrant to anyone. It is very over rated.

We LOVE the food here, every time we go. However, on our trip last month, we also went for lunch, and noticed that the service was not up to its normal standards. After lunch, our server collected our empty plates, then disappeared for 5 minutes. He then reappeared, to give the woman behind us her check. Nothing for us. We waited for a bit. He brought out the food for the table in front of us, and at this point, I had my room card out, ready to pay. He stopped by our table and asked what I had said (?!?). When I asked him, "What?" he said, "Oh, I thought you said something," and disappeared again. A few minutes later, he came out again, noticed that I had my room card out, picked it up, then promptly gave it back to me, saying, "I thought this was something else." What did you think it was?!? Do they not see room cards fairly often, for charging meals? I then asked him for the check, and he finally brought it out, but he had me write out the tip and then run it through on my card, with the full amount, so that he looked at his tip before we left. It was just a little odd.
We thought the food was well worth this weirdo waiter, though; the Australian lobster tails and King crab claws are amazing!
Cheers!

Sorry about your meal. IN 4 previous dinners there, we've found that sort of bad service typical of Fulton's----which is why (unless someone treats us to dinner) we'll never go back.

You didn't miss anything. We ate there over Labor Day weekend...the service was HORRIBLE. The waitress had a poor attitude on top of being a slow and forgetful server. The food was mediocre at best. I don't know if it was even as good as mediocre! Not to mention, expensive! Our party agreed we could have eaten off-site at Charleys steakhouse or a Ruth Chris's for what we spent and enjoyed it. Shame on Disney for keeping this restaurant afloat!
We, too, found truly rude and inattentive service at Fulton's and will never go back.

We had dinner here in August(our second try). After the ridiculous wait and non-existent server AND the wrong meals finally delivered, the manager comped us the meal. We left after one bite of the truly awful food. It's pretty bad when the customer won't stay for the free meal. Never again. By the way, the manager told us that he frequently has customer complaints but he seemed to take this in stride. Unbelievable! Threehearts

Consider yourself lucky. We thought the food was the highest priced swill we had ever had, and we ended up having to pay for it. You were saved! I wish we had been so smart in our trip there.

I agree, you missed nothing but an overpriced lunch tab! We ate here a few years back and vowed not to return.

We think the food is very good, but the service is a high price to pay. The last time we we there for lunch, two servers actually got into an argument in the middle of the lounge - they were yelling at each other. We had to laugh at the absurdity of it. Every server (except one) that we have ever had at Fultons has seemed like they thought they were doing us a favor by waiting on us. Bring back Empress Lilly!

That's a better way of putting it then I did. They do seem to think they are doing you a favor when they wait on you. Almost as though you were bothering them by being there.

That was unacceptable to say the least.
It's just such a pretty place in such a great location -darn! Maybe that's what the lawyers mean when they call something an attractive nuisance!! I find the service abysmal and the food just okay - how hard is it to heat crab legs in the oven for 10 minutes?
