Days 6 and 7 – October 8th and 9th

We left the World and our Pal and headed to the brothers in West Palm Beach. Beach, sand, expensive homes, eating, talking, a little bit of sleep, and we were off again for Day 8 – our LAST DAY (I wouldn’t want to waste good board time with non-Disney stuff).

Can't beat the beach. I was wondering how long it took you to drive from Disney to West Palm? I am heading to the World in January and a very good friend lives in West Palm, so I am trying to figure out if it is feasible to drive down for the day.

Hey Traci - it took us only a little over 2 hours to get to Singer Island, which is just over the bridge from West Palm. We took the Florida Parkway or Turnpike or something like that(?). If you're interested in going, I think I still have the map and I can get you the actual name of the road. In any event, I think it would be doable to do in one day.

I thought it was so much farther away then that. Maybe I can talk him into coming up to me. I'm sure we'll have more fun in Disney then in West Palm. If you want to PM me the directions anyway that would me great. Thanks so much and I hope you had a good time on your trip.
