20031108--Brother Bear Central NY DIS Meet (UPDATED) --INDEXED

Come see Disney's latest animated feature, Brother Bear (http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/brotherbear/index.html), with some of your CNY DISer's. This is a great way to meet and enjoy the company of people who love Disney and Walt Disney World living in and around Syracuse, NY.

WHEN: Saturday, November 8th, at 2:30 PM with a backup for 3 PM if the 2:30 showing is full.

WHERE: Great Northern Mall Movieplex near the ATM machine in front of the theaters (not the ticket machine).

After the movie, you are welcome to join me and my family in the Great Northern Mall's Food Court for discussion and eats. The food court has Arbys, McDonald's, Plainville Turkey, Sbarros, Taco Bell, and other food outlets. The food court is flexible when it comes to moving tables and such. It might help to bring coloring books, video games and other stuff for the kids. Warning, there is a game room next to the food court area.

I'll be letting all my pals that we're going to try and meet up for this. There are lots of us Syracuse Disney fans out here...some just don't read these boards as often as others.

Wow, just a couple of years ago it was just oldkicker and myself doing mini-DIS meets.

DawnMaree gets a pass this time but only because you'll be in WDW! :D Greg can tell us all about the new stuff at WDW, that'll be something to look forward to as my trip isn't too far away now!

Great Northern hasn't listed Brother Bear yet for this weekend. I'll be out of town this weekend so I'll update the time early next week.

I'm sorry I can't get out there for the Meet. DD is flying home from VA for a short weekend visit and I don't think a drive out to Syracuse would fit into her plans. We'll be thinking of you guys as we watch it here (Crossgates Mall theaters are 10 minutes from my house).

Ugh. Looks like we are going to have to play it by ear. I think DS has a 1:30 p.m. soccer game. Also, they have a "kids' night out" at Lemoyne College that evening.

They finally posted the Saturday times! :bounce:

We'll shoot for the 2:30 PM showing with the 3:00 PM showing as a backup. For those who miss the 2:30 start (figure 2:45 after all the commercials and tailers), you could go to the 3pm start and catch up with us in the Food Court afterwards. I'm sure we'll still be there! :earsboy:

I can go I can go! But I'll be late...I don't get off work until 5:30. Hopefully it is a quick drive from Carousel to Crossgates...

Where will you all be after the movie? And please be as specific as possible b/c this is my first time ever at Crossgates and I don't think I know anyone who will be there, except Lori! Dawn Maree is the only other one I've met in person and she'll be in WDW (phooey on her) ;)

Sorcerer Yup - I'll be at Disney World (ha ha), but you had your turn. The meet is not at Crossgates (I don't even know what that is). It is at Great Northern Mall and it is about 15 minutes drive from Carousel. I'll PM you with directions this afternoon as I have to go shopping now for my trip...
