We are usually camping in our pop up when we are at FT. Wilderness. It's our 20th anniversary so we decided to take a trip. (Just the adults) Got great air fare, but just couldn't bring ourselves to stay anywhere but the campground. Called and got a great rate on that too! This gets better and better all the time.We know about the campgound. Any tips as far as the cabins go? We're busting to go, but the kids aren't smiling too much.....
You will absolutely love the cabins, that's where we always stay (we do have a pop up but haven't taken it as far as Disney. We buy our food and things outside of Ft. Wilderness (you probably do too). You might want to bring dish detergent, I don't remember them supplying that. If you're planning to grill you'll need the charcoal, lighter fluid, etc. for that, we've never used it though. You'll love the maid service, they'll even load the dishwasher and run it for you. Every day they would fold the washcloths differently and creatively. Also they would arrange the kids stuffed animals and dolls which the kids loved coming back to find. As you already know, Ft. Wilderness is great, so have a wonderful time and happy anniversary!!:)

Congrats on your anniversary...
I am curious when you are going too that you got that rate. Did you have a special code?
I was pretty happy with my $149 rate. But a lower rate would be nice too. Every dollar counts.
We have two cabins reserved from July 12 to the 18th.
Thanks and once again, congrats.

Hi We4mickey. Happy anniversary. I believe that on my last trip(oct.2000) y'all were going to WDW. I have always wanted to stay at Ft. Wilderness, with your advice i visited the resort and luv it. When are you going to get such a great rate? We are looking into our next trip and want a cabin. BTW when I posted this I became a DIS veteran, 75 must be the magic number:pinkbounc

We got this rate when asking for the fall value rate. They did not offer this rate to us we had to ask. We will be there September 19-24. Not really long enough for me but I'll take anything.:p
