Guys,
I Live in Southeast Texas and I"m one of the lucky ones whose town was not hit hard by rain. Tropical Storm Allison hit us on Tuesday,and has been dumping rainevery day since! Houston is under water, and last time I talked to WDWfanatic288 there was water on the roads in here town. Hundreds of people are flooded out of there homes down here, and It been declared a national disaster area! I know a couple days ago I vented about TV ,but now the situation is much worse! There a 18 wheelers flouting in water is the streets of Houston, it's just a bad time to live down here. Please pray for all of us down in Southeast Texas, because more rain is suppose to hit us tonight!

About 20 minutes from where I live there was massive flooding...imagine the water so high that its over most cars!!!! Thats all through-out downtown houston!!! Its better now but thats how it was this morning!!! Some places go 40 inches of rain!!! its hard to imagine but Im seeing it all on tv!!!! There are thousands of people without homes..they are all flooded out-there is no where for the water to go..so its just sitting there!!! Its really bad..but its getting better!!
Between Tx and Lousiana they are excepting over a million dollars in damage!!! :earseek:

I read in the Dallas paper that it was now up to like 18 or so..I hope when I go back to houston everything will be better!!!

I live in south Ga and we are getting lots of rain from Alison. Tuesday night we got 10 inches during the night! Alot of places flooded! I see how bad it is here and then multiply it by like 100 and thats what its like in Texas! Prayers and Pixie dust to everyone affected by this storm!

I hate boing the bearer of bad news,but there are over 20,000 people whose houese were flooded, and there there the daeth toll is up to 23 and climbing!

yup..its better...all the flooding went down a long time along...I bet lots of ppl are still dealing with losing everything..lots of ppl are out shopping on the weekends b/c they have to get all new stuff.
Thank you guys soooooo much for the prayers...it was really bad down here and Im glad ppl are thinking about us! :D

Thank gosh its all over! I was soo lucky! I live just a couple miles away from all the flooding down here in Houston! My dad told me that he read in Newsweek that the final death toll was 21! My church is doing all it can to help out, but there's so much to do. The worst part is all the medical center that flooded! They had no power and the switch for the generator was below the water! Like six people died that night, and more would have but luckily there were volunters that did CPR on tons of people until they could like hook them back up to life support!! Some of dad's friends work there and they said it was a mess!!

Thanks for the prayers! Everything is getting better down here. research has been set back up to ten years in the medical center. The medical center was the worst hit.
