Haunted Mansion

Just watched the preview online and it looks like this is going to be another great movie from a Disney attraction! I liked how much of the DL & WDW HM effects are present, both exterior and interior.

Is anyone else getting excited about seeing this? :wave: :earsgirl: :jester:

Speaking of the Haunted Mansion-The Movie...Have they opened the "Making Of" at Disney-MGM Studios yet?

We were there Oct 8th and the CM at Millionaire said maybe on the 10th but we didn't get a chance to go back.

I think we'll be able to watch it on our cruise! Doesn't it open the 26th of November?? We'll be on the Wonder on the 30th.

I cannot wait.. Haunted Mansion is one of my faves. I never tire of it.. :D

We were at MGM last Wednesday the 8th too and the coolest thing happened. I went up real close to read the big billboard thingy in front of the Making Of Haunted Mansion AND THE DOOR OPENED! A cast member came out, pulled my family of 5 and about 10 other people in to give us a sneak peak as she said. I guess they were doing some trial runs. It was one of the highlights of the trip. It was like walking into the middle of the stairway/dinner table scene. They had costumes on display from the movie and they told a little about the story and they dimmed the lights. Freaked my kids all out, but I will definitely be seeing the movie when it comes out!

I can't wait! It looks like a blast, just like POTC was this summer! Plus, Eddie Murphy sounds hilarious in the previews, I'm definitely there Thanksgiving vacation at home!

I am definately getting excited about this movie! Unfortunately, I missed POTC because I was so busy with work and kids, but I certainly will not miss this one! The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorites and I think seeing the movie right before our trip will be awesome!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc

By any chance was the cast member a redhead. My daughter is on the college program and working at Making of the Haunted Mansion. She has been doing the tours since day one. She was at "One Mans Dream", but now works mostly at The Making of the Haunted Mansion Movie. Just curious.
