Are there any holiday celebrations going on Nov 21-23? What is Grinchmas? What about the Macey's Day Parade?

Thanks, Jesica....I see why you were hesitant to post. We miss Grinchmas by ONE day!!!! Story of my life!!! Thanks for all your help, especially the buy 4 get one free deal. Awesome. So, we'll be staying at the Royal....It will be decorated for the holidays?? Like Disney, do they go all out?

I ended up going to the HHN on October 15th....went from the airport to Universal. I bought my upgraded ticket and also the ExpressPass for $20. I really didn't end up needing the pass, was able to basically walk into every haunted house. But we used the passes to go thru a second time. I didn't realize the rest of the passes were for the rides during the day and at night, so it was a little bit of a waste of money, but worth it for an entire day of using the pass. My husband was a first timer at the HHN, and he thought they were great. Any one going in the next few days, ENJOY.

Cantw8 I called U/S IOA production # to get info on the Cat in the Hat movie/ meal deal and he told me that the Grinchmas will start on the 21st. He must have thought I was nuts cuz I asked him 2 or 3 more times "are you sure it starts on the 21st because I thought it was the 24th"( we leave on the 23rd too) and he kept assuring me that it is the 21st. I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll believe it when I see the grinch himself. Just wanted to let you know that there may be a chance. Also, don't forget on the 22nd they will be having the Cat in The Hat movie/breakfast.

I was just at www.univacations.com & it says there that Grinchmas will be November 21st to January 4th.
Also it says the Macy's Holiday Parade will be December 12th to January 4th.

Sounds like something *will* be going on while you are there !!!

I go the last week in December every year and yes, they go all out. Portofino was BEAUTIFUL last year, I didn't see the other resorts though I know they were, also.

I also missed the Macy's Parade last year so I'm looking forward to it this year. I grew up with the Macy's Parade in NY and I'd love my son to see this!
