? best way to drive from South FL to hotel near Disney?

I'm looking for the fastest way to the hotel today so we can check in and then get to MNSSHP early. I'm staying at the Rodeway Inn on Irlo Bronson Hwy just outside of WDW. Mapquest said to exit the Turnpike at exit 242 which would take me to Irlo Bronson Hwy then drive through Kissimmee. This looks like the shorter way on the map. Or do I stay on the Turnpike and drive further north to the Osceola parkway exit? This looks like it is taking me more out of the way. Is it better to go the longer way and stay out of Kissimmee?

I would definitely take Osceola. There are a million and one stoplights on 192 where you will have to go through.

I remember seeing the Rodeway. Isn't it on the west side of 192? If so, you can take Osceola down to either Reedy Creek (I think it crosses Osceola) or Sherberth.

When I was there the other week and making several trips to and from Okeechobee, I was originally going to take the Turnpike until I found out the tolls would be over ten bucks one way! We ended up taking 441 instead. Absolutely nothing to see but trees, but we saved over $30 (up from Okee to Orl on Saturday and there and back on Monday for my nephew's funeral).

I'll second that-- Osceola Pkwy is MUCH faster than 192---- I don't know where the Rodeway is, but there are many roads that you can take to 192 from Osceola---You can even take Rt.4 (west), if the hotel is near Rt.4 on 192........
