Hi Cotye!
Sorry we missed the chance to wave to ya'll this weekend. Were there yesterday with the intention of returning home last nite. By 2p.m. we were wet from drizzling rain & heading for car to go find a room. Came back to IOA, but missed the 3 pm meet. Earlier we had missed the 12 noon meet at Backwater Bar. Couldn't tear DD from USF in time, but felt we'd make it to the globe by 3 pm. Will get in on the wave one of these days!
This morning we went to IOA for 2 1/2 hours before we needed to leave. Gray & drizzly again, darn! Worked our way toward Lost Continent by 10 am & did our split-up routine (DW & DD to Flying Unicorn while I Dragon Duel, then meet at the games tents). As I step to the front row Ice, I notice a guy just climbing in the seat wearing a shirt with the DIS info on it. Thought it might be a true Barry sigting (guess it's a lot like an Elvis sighting, 'cept Elvis just went home!)
So anyway, get off Ice & head to re-entry to Fire. Sraight to last row and guess who's sitting there? Had to ask him before cleared to take-off..."Are you Barry?". After giving me that look of "who the heck are you?" he replied "yeah". Didn't offer an autograph, but affirmed had been riding Dragons all morning.
Probably would've seen him back at Ice again but my allotted 2 rides were up and had to meet my girls ASAP.
DW spotted Hulk Hogan Sat. in IOA at the game tents, I spotted Barry (& I guess that was Dave O with him too). What a celebrity filled day & a half!
Looking forward to meeting everyone on the boards here eventually!

We will be there 3/10 for sure. Wanna try and get there Fri nite though. Probably stay till Sun noon 3/11.
Wish we could stay at HRH with everyone! We have 2 other weekend trips planned before the end of March. If we could just refrain from all the little visits, we'd be in there. Can you beleive Cabin Fever exists in No. Fla.? If the temp. hits 70's in Orlando & the high here is 60's on weekends....we go! Hope I don't sound like a whining wimp, but I am. I bet Cotye's rolling his eyes about now!
We're going to check-out the new Express system on Feb. 24/25. Will give some feed-back on it then. If it goes in 2/15 , hope to get a little insight on these boards for that week. Presidents' Day & Daytona Speed Week AND Mardi Gras kick-off will be a good test for it. That's why we chickened out that week-end!

Thanks for all who came! Sorry I could not stay very long on Saturday. It was cold and rainy! We waited as long as we could until we broke for warmer confines. :) Dave O'Brien got sick on Sunday, so it was me in the cold all day again!
