I lost 24 lbs. on WW and after 10 weeks my measures show that I lost 18 inches all over.

Shouldn't it be higher????

Celebrate your success, don't second guess it. I think losing 18 inches in 10 weeks is excellent success. You're doing great! Celebrate! I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourself!

18 inches all over is awesome!!!!

Congrats on the 24 pounds loss and the 18 inches that are gone forever!

Don't compare pounds to inches - you might even experience weeks at a time without a loss on the scale and that's when the inches lost will increase. Hang in there! You have lost lots in both areas and you have alot to be proud of!:teeth:

Wow- 24 pounds in 10 weeks. You are doing awesome! I wouldn't worry so much about inches if you are doing so well in the weight loss. There are so many places on a body to loose weight, that not everyone looses the inches at the exact same rate. Great job! Keep up the great work!

Melanie-It's a journey, not a destination!

I think you are doing great! Like the others said, your measurements are not always in sync with your weight. And one more bit of advice. Don't compare yourself to others on this or any other program. If you are headed in the right direction, keep moving! You will get there, and chances are, you will stay there. I still can't get over 24 pounds in 10 weeks! That is awesome!

Keep the Faith!

I know I should be happy! I also know that I am working very hard in making the "right" choices and not making costly choices, often.

I was just hoping that in a month, I would have seen a greater improvement.

But you are right. I am heading in the right direction, and every loss or inch that is off me, will be off for good. That I can assure myself.

My DH even told me that he has such confidence in me to keep it off, because he sees that "this time" I am doing everything to set myself up for success and not giving myself excuses for making the wrong choice or choices.

My DH lost 6 lbs. just by eating the same dinners as I have. He looks great.

I weigh myself once a week and measure once a month. Is that enough? Not too much?

Youre doing great!!

I dont think there is any magic formula as far as weight VS inches.

I have gone the opposite way and worry about it too. I have lost a lot of inches but not so many pounds. I just figure we all lose at different rates and different parts of our bodies.

Youre doing wonderfully! Im proud of you!

I agree! You are doing great. Remember it took a while to get it on and it will take time to get it off. Seek the lifestyle change so that when you do get to where you want that you will be able to stay there. You are doing it! Congratulations!
