Food & Wine

Hello! I am accompanying my dh on his annual WDW conference, so will be by myself in my ECV for much of next week. I have been reading about the Food & Wine event.

Does anyone have any info on crowd levels at different times of the week/day for this event? The only thing I could figure out was that the special dinner event (Party for the Senses) is SUPER crowded and thus no fun in a wc/ECV.

I also wonder if I will be able to sample any of the food from the booths if I am having lunch by myself. They seem to have tasting portions of all sorts of things, but I can't imagine how I would drive & hold a plate.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated!

Hi Cupcake.

There are at least two choices

Sometimes with a tray I will put the tray on the basket and balance it with one hand while using the other to do the driving. I then go to a place where there is a table I can use.

If there will be more items, or if it would be difficult, I will just (nicely) tell a CM that I need assistance and they will then carry the items to where I can park and eat.

With sample-size foods, thee should not be a problem in using method one and then stopping out of the way of traffic.
