Just wondering how many Tennessean's out there. I've never ran into anyone here is Tennessean that is a member of the DVC.
On our trip to Boardwalk September of last year (2002), we met a couple that was from Tennessee while we were on our way over to Epcot one day. They actually hung their UT flag from their balcony. If was after talking with these folks that me and my husband decided to go back on the tour of DVC. We had been several times before on other trips.
I truly believe, they are the reason why we joined. So, if you are out there, thanks! We love DVC and wished we would have joined sooner.

I live in Nashville, TN and I know there is at least one disboard member who lives in Franklin. (I just drove thur Pegram Saturday on my way back from Ashland City!)
While I love my Vols, I have not hung a flag at The DVC. (This will not be the year I start either, not the way they are playing! LOL!)

HI CarolA -
I'm right with you on the Vols. I thought with the win against Florida this might be a great year but it appears not.
I have lived here in Pegram for over 10 years. My husband is from Ashland City, we still go over to visit friends from there.
It's great to know other Middle Tennesseans share in the magic of Disney!!
This board is great for me. Its a way I can stay in touch with Disney without driving my husband crazy.

I'm with you. I'm getting a little ashamed to tell anyone that my son's name is Peyton.
It's great to know of other Disney fans in TN!

Im from Memphis(actually I live in Bartlett, its a suburb)
I've lived here about 4 years.
Im not a college football fan and i dont root for the Titans either.
It kills me to live so far away from WDW now.

I know what you mean about living so far away. It takes us about 12 hours to get to WDW. We mainly drive to our trips and with it being so far, we don't nearly make it as often as I would like.
We were just down at the BCV in May and I am ready for another trip. I would love to make another trip by the end of the year but I know that's not possible this year.
I am just looking forward to 10-12 days on the next trip next year.
I see that you travel for lottery tickets. It won't be long before we are able to buy them here in TN. I'd love to win so I could add-on to my DVC!

I'm just a wee bit south in Huntsville, AL but spend quite a bit of time in Nashville especially now that it's hockey season! Does that count? :wave2:

I remember that you worked both jobs! I always look for a Debbie when I'm at TDS ( but I am not there too often, maybe 3 times a year)
I go into Chick- fil a more often :teeth:
I'll be sure to look for you!

I had some relatives that live in Mt Juliet, last name Belew. I seem to think they may have been hockey fans. Any relation?
Maybe its just a small world.

We live in Memphis, very close to the Miss state line. We live about a mile from Elvis' house. I have a daughter and son-in-law who are members and they live in Maryville,TN. My son, who is also a member, lives in NYC. I didn't realize we had so many from TN and I know there are many more who haven't replied to this post. We should have a get together some time!

We are really excited, I hope the kids do well on the way down, we are going to stay the night in Valdosta, so we all don't go crazy. Where is Pelgram? I have never heard of it?

Pegram is alittle more than 10-15 miles west of Nashville.
We usually stop somewhere mid way when we go to WDW. We have a 5 year old that needs to get out and release some energy.
Have a great time in WDW We were at the BCV in May. We loved it and can't wait until our next trip.

Another Tennessee DVC member here. DH and I are from Bristol originally and moved from Kingsport last year. We're living in SE Washington state now. The trips to WDW are much farther now, but we visited last September, this February, and heading back next week!

Hello, fellow Tennesseans! :wave2: I grew up in Nashville, and currently live in Lebanon (actually close to Gladeville), so Blue56 is a very close neighbor. :D
My dad lives in Pegram, and we are Vol and Pred Fans, lol. Small World! :D

As you can tell by my user name, I am not a Vols fan. I grew up in Florida but my DH was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and our family now lives in Auburntown, east of Murfreesboro and Nashville. We were at the BCV last week for fall break. My DH and I are going back for our 10th anniversary over New Years.

Hi Tommy,
I live about 2 blocks from Alturia elementary.
We should have a Memphis DVC get together. I think there are at least 4 of us.

I'm in for the Memphis Get Together. I live in Arlington. Thanks Tommy for all the HHI info. Haven't made it yet, but hoping for this summer.
Debbie (mrsdon), I haven't forgotten about you. I know you understand how busy I am right now, not to add that I had jury duty last week. You would think they would let me off, but no.
Glad to see so many Tennessee DVCers.

WOW ! We are getting quite a few Tennessean's out there. I knew that we were pretty smart knowing what a great thing DVC is. I am still trying to convince friends they should buy before our next trip down next summer.
TNMomof3 - With your dad living in Pegram you must know what a small town we are. We live up past the parks and love it here. We are just a hop skip and jump from the elementary school and the park. My DS just loves spending the afternoon in the new addition to the park.

Glad to meet you KAMommy. Glad you are part of us Tennesseans.
Look forward to hearing about your trip when you return.
We haven't been to WDW yet during the holidays. We came close one year, business trip after the New Year, but all the decorations were already taken down.
I'm sure you will have a BLAST!
