MyPoints Site Down

Just went to the MyPoints site to email them about the days I have not been credited proprely this week, and the site was down. It did not work when I tried to respond to my emails either. There is a message saying the site is down for maintenence, but no indication of how long it will take.
I wonder what this means?

With all the problems we are having with rewards sites lately, it is making me nervous. I just cashed out of my account about 2 wks ago, but the 2 other members of my family who do MyPoints didn't have enough to cash out yet. :(

I wonder if this has any connection with the buyout of MyPoints by United Airlines that LI Debbie posted about earlier this week?

I hope they are back soon. I really like MyPoints.

Mypoints sometimes goes out of service for a day or two-this usually happens on the weekends, but they do get it fixed pretty quickly.

It's also possible that they are tweeking the site to reflect the new owership by United-probably going to offer some kind of reward related to that airline-offers for free flights or dollars off fares.

Even when mypoint's stock was in the gutter, they were pretty good about sending out GCs. I think the new owership and the influx of money to mypoints can only make it strong and hopefully better.
