You may want to post this over on the Universal Resorts board. I haven't stayed at RP yet, but alot of people on the Universal forum have and have loved it.

We stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort in July for three nights and absolutely loved it. We have stayed at all three of the on-site hotels at Universal and the Royal Pacific is my new favorite.

RPR is a beautiful - nice rooms, great restaurants including Emeril's Tschoup Tchoup (sp?) and fun pool area. It is about a ten minute walk to Citywalk and the theme parks (or you can take the water taxi). The Universal theme parks are big fun and you get to go to the front of the line because you are staying on-site. I cannot tell you how great this is.

Enjoy your trip!

Royal Pacific is a great resort! It's beautiful. I ahve stayed there many times. We were there last Thanksgiving. Islands Dining room has a wonderful Thanksgiving Buffet if you're looking for a place to eat. They ahve a huge pool with lots of activities going on. You'll love the express access for the parks. Go look on the US resorts folder for a lot of RP info.
