Does anyone know if they use the GAC system at Disneyland or California Adventure. I am taking my 8(will be 9) son there next April and I got him one for WDW last year as he has various problems - EBD and ADHD - ie waiting in line tends to REALLY freak him out!!!!
TIA

They do.
At DL, it's called Special Assistance Pass as far as I know. It was called that at WDW until about maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Because of the word "pass", people got the idea that the card was a pass that gave immediate entry to the rides, so WDW changed the name (as least that's what I was told). For some reason, DL didn't change their card.
You might find this site helpful. (http://pixiedustinn.com/disabilitiesfaq/DisabilitiesFAQ.html) . She hasn't updated it for a while, but there is good general info and lots of hints.

Check out the DISABILITIES section of this board. GACs are used throughout the Disney parks for situations such as the one you mentioned, among others, and they are discussed often there.:)

Yes, as of last April they were still called a Guest Assistance Pass. You get them at guest relations just like WDW. You might want to give them a call and see if they offer one for your specific needs.
