View Full Version : Grand Villa at Wilderness Lodge Villas???

I'm headed to VWL Nov 1-8, and was looking at the map someone else so kindly posted. I then decided to go to the room reports board to see what rooms were where that people had posted information about. More than one person stated that they stayed at a Grand Villa at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. I didn't think that was possible. Could it be a Grand Villa at the Lodge part??? Also, the room numbers the Grand Villa reporters stated didn't match up with the map of room numbers. Any one have any ideas? :confused:

I could be wrong but I don't think the VWL have GV's? Someone Else???

There are no GVs at VWL. There are only GVs at OKW and BWV.

I've seen the reports you are talking about and I wondered the same thing but I know that there are no GV's at VWL.

I wish there was!

I'd love the option of spending a vacation over the holidays with our family in a Grand Villa at VWL.

Thanks all - at least I know I'm not nuts!!! I didn't think there were any GV at Wilderness Lodge Villas, and the map of the resort doesn't show any either. I wonder if the people who reported their stay in GVs at Wilderness really knew where they stayed!!! lol

I've seen those Grand Villa reports too!


I just figured that when they saw the size of the 2BR accommodations, they just assumed that they had to be Grand Villas! :p

Could be Granny!!! We're going for the first time to VWL and staying in a dedicated 2BR (I called and asked!). I saw the GV at OKW in 1992 so I know how BIG they are. I'd LOVE it if the 2BR compared in size, but I know I'll be happy regardless.

They will be adding a 6th floor at VWL, Grand Villas ONLY :eek:

These will have floor plans exactly like the GVs at OKW:earseek:

Only DVC members who are charter members circa 1991 with 500 or more points in their charter contract will be allowwed to make ressies. :mad:

Also, they MUST be reserved for at least a 7 day continuous stay :rolleyes:

They will ALL have unobstructed lake and MK views :crazy:

Full daily Mousekeeping will be included and concierge lounge access on the same floor :tongue:

They must think the OKW Grand Villas are apartment complexes! LOL!!
